A small desk with a long night shift.
Lantern Loop is an independent editorial guide to casino hotels — written for travellers who care about where they sleep as much as where they play.

Why a lantern, and why a loop?
Casino cities never quite go dark. Lobby chandeliers, marquee signs and pool lights keep a low glow running from dusk until the breakfast crowd arrives.
We think of each property as a lantern on that circuit, and of this site as the loop that links them — from the fountains of the Las Vegas Strip to the gilded square in Monte-Carlo, the rooftop pool above Marina Bay and the lotus tower over old Macau.
Each dispatch starts with the record: when a property opened, where it sits, what's under its roof. Then we explain, in plain language, what that adds up to for someone checking in.
How the desk works.
Four rules we write by. They keep the dispatches useful — and keep the casino in its place.
Plainly written
No jackpot hype and no velvet-rope clichés. Just what the stay is like.
Record first
We start from things you can check: dates, locations, layouts and published facilities.
Editorially led
Properties are chosen by the desk for what they offer a guest, not for what they pay.
Play-aware
Every dispatch points to the house rules, the legal age and the off switch.
What Lantern Loop is not.
We'd rather say this up front than in the small print.
- Not a booking siteWe don't sell rooms or take reservations. Book directly with the property.
- Not a casinoThere is no gambling of any kind on this website, and never will be.
- Not a tipsterWe don't offer betting systems, odds advice or strategies.
- Not the hotels' voiceWe're independent of the properties we write about. Their trademarks belong to them.
Spotted something out of date?
Properties renovate, restaurants change hands and rules get updated. If a dispatch needs a correction, the desk wants to hear about it.
